Jewish cemetery (Hilchenbach)

The Hilchenbach Jewish cemetery is located in the town of Hilchenbach in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district in North Rhine-Westphalia . As a Jewish cemetery , it is an architectural monument .

12 tombstones have been preserved in the Rothenberger Strasse / Brachthauser Strasse cemetery .

history

The cemetery was occupied from 1899 to 1948. During the Nazi era , the gravestones were whitewashed with lime. In 1949 the cemetery was desecrated again.
