Jewish cemetery (Westerkappeln)
The Westerkappeln Jewish Cemetery is located in the Westerkappeln municipality in the Steinfurt district in North Rhine-Westphalia . As a Jewish cemetery , it is a listed building and has been on the list of monuments since March 6, 1987.
49 tombstones have been preserved in the cemetery in a wooded area on Osnabrücker Straße / Im Gabelin . The sandstone tombs are designed in a rounded stele shape.
The cemetery was occupied from 1812 to 1937. The oldest gravestone is from 1831.
