Jürgen Adams (born February 13, 1961 in Mannheim ) is a former German ice hockey player .
Career
Jürgen Adams began his career in the student and youth teams of the Mannheim ERC (MERC). In 1980 he joined the professional team as a student and immediately became German ice hockey champion under coach Heinz Weisenbach . After seven more seasons for Mannheim, he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt for two years , before ending his professional career after a year at EC Bad Nauheim in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey . As an amateur, however, he remained loyal to ice hockey. Adams scored a total of 161 scorer points , including 81 goals, in 356 games during his professional career . He did not make the big breakthrough in the German national ice hockey team.
