Jürgen Costede

Jürgen Costede (born October 8, 1939 in Memel ) is a German legal scholar.

Life

The doctorate to Dr. jur. took place in 1968, the habilitation at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in 1975. Since 1978 he was university professor for civil law , civil procedural law and tax law there . Costede was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Halle in 2003. He is now retired.
