Jürgen Gebhardt (political scientist)

Jürgen Gebhardt (born July 27, 1934 in Berlin ) is a German political scientist .

biography

Jürgen Gebhardt was born in Berlin in 1934. From 1953 to 1959 he studied Ancient, Middle and New History, Literature and Political Science at the Universities of Munich, Berlin and Vienna. He received his doctorate in philosophy in Munich in 1961 . His habilitation followed in 1969. From 1978 until his retirement in 2002 he was a professor at the Institute for Political Science at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg .
