Jürgen Harms (* 1944 in Darmstadt ) is a German spinal surgeon .

Life

Harms studied medicine from 1963 to 1968 at the University of Frankfurt and the University of Saarland in Homburg , specializing in orthopedics , and graduated as a specialist in 1974.

In 1978 he was appointed professor of orthopedics at Saarland University in Homburg. He conducted scientific research on new surgical techniques and new materials and instruments for spine and hip surgery. From 1980 to February 2011 he was the senior physician in orthopedics and spinal surgery at the Karlsbad-Langensteinbach Clinic.
