Jürgen Kurz (show jumper)

Jürgen Kurz (born June 20, 1958 in Ludwigsburg ) is a German show jumper and the state trainer of Baden-Württemberg.

The horse management master from Leingarten was 29th in the German ranking in 2009.

Career

After graduating from high school, Kurz went to DOKR to start an apprenticeship there. He completed his second year of apprenticeship with equestrian legend Hans Günter Winkler . In 1983 he passed the horse management exam. He has been self-employed since 1985 and operates a plant near Heilbronn .

Kurz is best known as a trainer for jumping horses.

His greatest success is reaching the final of the German Masters in Stuttgart in 1991 with Caesar, his mother's horse, which he trained himself from the ground up and led to a total of over 60 S victories.
