Jürgen Gerhard Pichorner (born August 31, 1977 in Villach ) is an Austrian football player.

Career

Jürgen Pichorner (nickname "Pico") started his career at SV Spittal / Drau . He was noticed for the first time in the professional area at LASK Linz . In spring 2002 Pichorner was brought to SV Austria Salzburg by the then sports director Otto Barić together with Ewald Brenner .

As one of only a few players he was not given up after the takeover of the club by Red Bull GmbH and kept his regular place in the team in the 2005/06 season.

In August 2006, however, Jürgen Pichorner moved to Bundesliga club SV Ried , with whom he twice reached the UEFA Cup and in 2007 was runner-up. In summer 2008 he moved to his home country for SK Austria Kärnten . A year later he moved to the Bundesliga relegated SCR Altach in the second-rate first division . In 2010 he returned to his home club, SV Spittal, and is now playing in the fourth division ( Carinthian League ). He turned his back on this at the end of the 2013/14 season to add another year to SV Rothenthurn in the fifth division (Kärntner Unterliga West).
