Jürgen Rauen (* 1947 in Offenbach am Main ) was the chairman of the board of directors of the entire Veolia Umweltservice company and, as chief executive officer, was responsible for the company.

Jürgen Rauen studied business administration at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal and at the International Institute for Management Development in Geneva . He was Sales Manager Europe at Unicorn Ind Ltd, UK. From 1982 to 1999 he was Managing Director of the automotive supplier ERA Ernstmeier-Beteiligungs GmbH before joining SULO in 2000 . The disposal division of SULO was taken over by Veolia Environnement in 2007 and renamed Veolia Umweltservice . After the takeover, Rauen also became CEO of the new company. He is married and has a daughter.
