Jürgen Schlabbach

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jürgen Schlabbach (* 1952 ) is a German university professor and specialist book author.

Life

Jürgen Schlabbach studied electrical power engineering at the TU Darmstadt , specializing in heavy current engineering. In 1982, he was there with the theme of "distance protection with microcomputers" doctorate . He then worked for an engineering company until 1992, mainly in planning projects for public and industrial power supply at home and abroad.

In 1992 he followed a call to the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and has been there since then as a professor in the field of "Electrical and Renewable Energy Generation and Distribution".

Schlabbach retired in 2018.

Schlabbach has published numerous specialist books and articles in national and international specialist journals on the subject of planning and calculating electrical networks, renewable energy sources and the connection of renewable energy sources to electrical energy supply networks .
