Jürgen Tubach

Jürgen Tubach (* 1947 ) is a German Protestant theologian .

Life

Tubach studied Protestant theology at the University of Heidelberg from 1966 to 1972 and from 1972 Oriental Studies and Ancient History at the Universities of Heidelberg and Hamburg, as well as the Christian Orient , Religious Studies and Semitic Studies at the University of Bonn . In 1972 he took the first theological and in 1984 the second theological exam at the Evangelical Church in Baden . After receiving his doctorate in 1982 and his habilitation in 1989 (each in the subject Science of the Christian Orient in Bonn), he has been teaching since 1995 as a professor for the subject Christian Orient at the Oriental Institute of the University of Halle-Wittenberg .
