Jürgen Unruhe (born January 28, 1970 in Höxter ) is a state politician ( SPD ) in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

Jürgen Unruhe graduated from there with a secondary school leaving certificate. From 1986 to 1989 he was trained at the Deutsche Bundespost. From 1990 to 1991 he attended the technical college for economics in Detmold and obtained the technical college entrance qualification. Since 1989 he has been employed as a delivery agent at Deutsche Post AG.

Unruhe has been a member of the SPD since 1994. Since 2002 he has been chairman of the SPD local association in Ottenhausen and a member of the board of the SPD district association in Höxter. He is also a member of the ver.di union . He was elected to the Steinheim City Council for the first time in 1995. He has been vice chairman there since 2004. Jürgen Unruhe has been a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament since the 2005 election . He entered parliament via the SPD's state list; He could not win his constituency against Hubertus Fehring (CDU). In the state elections in 2010, he was again clearly defeated by Fehring and also missed entry into the state parliament via the state list.

Unrest was a member of the Petitions Committee and the Committee on the Environment, Nature Conservation, Agriculture and Consumer Protection. He was also one of the secretaries of the state parliament.
