Hubertus Fehring

Hubertus Fehring (born June 11, 1950 in Warburg ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From June 8, 2005 to May 31, 2017, he was three times ( 2005–2010 , 2010–2012 , 2012–2017 ) directly elected member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for the state constituency of Höxter .

education and profession

After secondary school , Fehring completed an apprenticeship as a farmer , then as an agricultural master. He took over his parents' business and works as a self-employed farmer.

Family and home

Hubertus Fehring is married and has four children. From his birth to 2017 he lived in Eissen , since 2017 he has lived near Brakel .

Political party

He has been a member of the CDU since 1974, of which he was chairman of the Eissen local union for eight years. From 1985 to 2013 he was chairman of the Willebadessen city ​​association .

From 1979 to 1989 he was a member of the Willebadessen city council. Between 1994 and May 2005 he was a member of the district council of Höxter .
Since June 8, 2005 he has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . Public offices

Until the beginning of 2010, Hubertus Fehring was chairman of the operational aid service (BHD) and machine ring (MR) in the Höxter district, an agricultural organization that provides farmers or their wives with substitute workers in the event of illness. Today he is interested in and involved in the Höxter bioenergy region. Since 2011, Fehring has also been a member of the Caritas Council of the Caritas Association for the Höxter district.
