Jūratė Juozaitienė

Jūratė Juozaitienė (born July 31, 1953 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1971, she completed a diploma in architecture at the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas in 1976 . From 1976 to 1979 she worked as an architect in the institute for building projects, from 1979 to 1997 as a research assistant at the research institute for architecture and wrote the scientific paper on the topic "Lietuvos pramoninės architektūros raida". She was director of UAB "Kauno dizaino salonas" until 2000, member of Seimas from 2000 to 2004 , advisor to the Prime Minister from 2001 to 2002, and in 2005 secretary at the Lithuanian Ministry of the Environment .

From 1999 she was a member of the Lietuvos liberalų sąjunga , from 2003 of the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .

She is married. With her husband Virginijus she has the children Martynas and Jonas.
