JC Flowers & Co. LLC
JC Flowers & Company, LLC is a private equity firm founded in 2002 by J. Christopher Flowers , a former Goldman Sachs partner. According to its own statements, JC Flowers is the largest in the world among financial investors who focus exclusively on the financial services sector. In total, JC Flowers has invested around nine billion US dollars so far, spread over 20 individual transactions. More than half of this investment capital is tied up in seven European transactions (as of May 2008).
Flowers has been active on the German market since 2004. Flowers holds less than 10% of HRE and around 10% of HSH Nordbank . JC Flowers & Co has launched two private equity funds to date, JC Flowers I LP (closed in 2007 with over $ 7 billion in investment capital) and JC Flowers II LP
The company has offices in New York City (headquarters) and London. In Europe, JC Flowers was run by Ravi Sinha.

- Hypo Real Estate : 24.9%, from June 24, 2008 to October 13, 2009 ( squeeze-out by SoFFin )
