Bhe 4/8 are railcars of the Swiss Jungfrau Railway (JB). They were procured in 2016 to replace the BDhe 2/4 in passenger transport and to increase capacities. On August 25, 2016, the entire fleet was officially inaugurated on the Kleine Scheidegg after closing time.
technology
Like Bhe 4/8 of the Wengernalp Railway, they consist of two end cars and one middle car. There are side transition doors on the fronts and snow plows underneath. All four bogies have a drive gear on the valley side and are designed for pure cog railway operation.
