JB Straubel
Jeffrey Brian Straubel (born December 20, 1975 in Des Moines ) is an American entrepreneur . He co-founded Tesla Motors and was its Chief Technical Officer until July 2019 . Tesla is an American manufacturer of electric cars from Palo Alto . Straubel was responsible for the technical design of the cars. In addition, his role included the evaluation of new technologies, research and development, the technical examination of key suppliers and partners, the intellectual property of Tesla and the acceptance test of the key components.
Straubel teaches "Energy Storage Integration" in the Atmosphere and Energy Program at Stanford University , where he studied.
