JCSAT-4B , originally JCSAT-13 , is a commercial communications satellite from the Japanese company SKY Perfect JSAT .

It was put into geostationary orbit together with Vinasat 2 on May 15, 2012 at 10:13 pm UTC with an Ariane 5 ECA launcher in the Center Spatial Guyanais near Kourou .

The three-axis stabilized satellite with 44 Ku-band - transponders equipped and provided for the position of 124 degrees East Asia and Oceania, with the television. It was built on the basis of the A2100 AX satellite bus from Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems (LMCSS) and has a planned service life of 15 years.
