Jack Baker

John Anthony Bailey (born June 4, 1947 in Ohio - † November 13, 1994 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American film actor . He became known as a performer in film and television under the stage name Jack Baker . After a film and television career in the 1970s, he switched to the porn genre in the 1980s .

Life

John Anthony Bailey attended Merritt College in Oakland . He began his film and television career in the 1960s with a few guest appearances in shows like Kobra, Take Over, or Happy Days . His breakthrough came with the children's series Wonderbugs in which he played CC McNamera, and was also best known for a brief appearance in Kentucky Fried Movie (1977) and a guest role as cousin Cleatus in Good Times (1975). He had other roles in Love at First Bite (1979) and TAG - Das Killerspiel (1982).

From 1984 a very successful porn film career followed. He starred in over 150 films, according to the Internet Adult Film Database . He has appeared in films such as The Devil in Miss Jones 4: The Final Outrage (1986), New Wave Hookers (1985) and its sequel New Wave Hookers 2 . From 1986 he rarely appeared in sex roles and concentrated on the portrayal of other characters in porn films. Nevertheless, he remained loyal to the porn scene and only had an appearance in the 1991 feature film Mutronics - Invasion of the Super Mutants (1991).

He was discovered to have bladder cancer in the late 1980s , one of the reasons why he abandoned sex roles. He died in 1994 at the age of 47 as a result of this disease.
