In 2005, VCA released a remake by director Eon McKai entitled "New Wave Hookers". In the remake, two women (played by Joanna Angel and Riley Mason) buy an original copy of the porn classic by Gregory Dark at a flea market. They watch the film with their friends (played by Justine Joli , Felix Vicious, Sierra Sinn and Tiger) and then fantasize about passion and sex. The women later step into the VCA producer's office and find the files of the Traci Lords case . In the remake, the director Eon McKai refers to Gregory Dark, but Neu Wave Hookers is not a classic remake. Striking the special are imagery and Electro - Soundtrack , a tribute to the classic, who was then a special New Wave sound had.
