Ginger Lynn Allen (born December 14, 1962 in Rockford , Illinois ) is an American porn actress and actress who became known as Ginger Lynn through her work in numerous porn films in the 1980s.

Life

In 1982, Lynn moved to California , where she initially worked as a nude model and began her career as a porn actress in 1983. She is considered one of the most successful actresses of the 1980s. Only Traci Lords achieved similar popularity during this period. In 1986 she announced her retirement from the porn business and tried to gain a foothold as a serious actress under her full name. In addition to various smaller film and television roles, she was also seen in the role of chief technician Rachel Coriolis in two computer games from the Wing Commander series, Wing Commander III - Heart of the Tiger (1994) and Wing Commander: Prophecy (1997). In 1998, she played in Metallica - video clip for the song Turn the Page (originally performed by Bob Seger ) the figure of the whore. A year later she returned to her old industry with the film Torn , but continued to play small roles in films outside of the porn industry.

In 1991 she was given a suspended sentence for falsifying her tax return. After she tested positive for drugs during her probation, she was sitting 17 days in prison and is needed for addiction undergo to their years of cocaine addiction fight. She later made two fitness videos and got a supporting role in the Hollywood film Blaze of Glory (1990). During the filming, she met Charlie Sheen and lived with him from 1990 to 1992. Lynn now lives in California. In 1996 their son was born.

In 2004, Lynn was portrayed as one of 30 well-known porn actors by American photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders in his book XXX: 30 Porn-Star Portraits and his HBO documentary Thinking XXX . She is a member of the XRCO Hall of Fame and AVN Hall of Fame .

Since 2007 she has been a presenter with Christy Canyon on Playboy Radio, a Sirius XM Radio station .
