Christy Canyon
Christy Canyon (* 17th June 1966 in Pasadena , California as Melissa Bardizbanian ) is an American porn actress of Armenian origin.
life and career
Canyon is the younger sister of the author Carla Sinclair . She attended Providence High School in Burbank and North Hollywood High School in North Hollywood , California. She has a degree in Marketing.
In 1984 she first appeared in a porn film . Canyon's film The Night Of Loving Dangerously from 1984 later caused a sensation with the police, as she was filming with the then underage Traci Lords .
From 1984 to 1997 Canyon starred in around 200 films, withdrawing and returning from the porn business several times. In the mid-1990s, she was signed to Vivid Video as the Vivid Girl for her comeback . During her porn career, during the breaks and even after 1997, Christy Canyon also worked as a stripper . In 2003 she published her autobiography Lights, Camera, Sex! , which she presented at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on April 26-27, 2003 . 2004 Christy Canyon was chosen as one of 30 known porn performers by the American photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders in his book XXX: 30 Porn-Star Portraits and his HBO - documentary Thinking XXX portrayed.
Canyon was married and divorced twice: with Tom Sinopoli (1993-1994) and with Jeremy Stone (1996-1999), editor of Adam Film World magazine . She has been married again since 2003. In a 2005 interview, she said that she had sex with all of her film partners outside of the studio - without using condoms, which she doesn't think much of in her personal life.
Canyon was inducted into the XRCO Hall of Fame and the AVN Hall of Fame .
In 1993 she was sung about in the song Heaven Is on the album Liberator by OMD with the line "Heaven is Christy Canyon falling in love with me".
