Jack Kilpatrick

John "Jack" Kilpatrick (born July 7, 1917 in Bootle , United Kingdom , † December 18, 1989 ) was a British ice hockey player who was among other things in 1936 with his country Olympic champion.

Career

Jack Kilpatrick was active at club level for the Wembley Lions in the English National League , in which he played for two years. During that time, the attacker scored five goals and three assists.

International

For Great Britain Kilpatrick took part in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , where he and his team won the gold medal. The tournament was also rated as a world and European championship, which is why he and his team also won these titles. At the age of 18, he was the youngest Briton ever to win a gold medal at the Winter Olympics. In 1993 he was inducted into the British Ice Hockey Hall of Fame .
