Jack Samani (born May 7, 1979 ) is a Solomon soccer player who is active for PS United Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea and for the Solomonic national soccer team .

Career

From 2003 to 2003 Samani played for Marist FC in the Solomon Islands. In January 2004, the midfielder moved to the Brisbane Wolves in Australia, where he was active until the summer of 2006. He then returned to Marist FC in his home country, played there for 18 months and signed a contract with Hekari United from Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea in early 2007 . In 2007 he was able to win the Papau New Guinean Championship with Hekari United.

For the national team of the Solomon Islands Samani has played over 27 international matches since 2000, scoring six goals. He was a member of the legendary team that made it into the 2004 OFC Nations Cup final, but lost two games in the final against Australia . In the first leg Samani completed the full playing time, in the second leg he came on in the 75th minute for Alick Maemae . He also played for the Solomon Islands at the OFC Nations Cups in Tahiti in 2000 and in New Zealand in 2002 and was a participant in qualifying for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
