Marist FC (partly also Marist Fire FC ) is a Solomonic football club from the capital Honiara . The club won the national championship three times .
The greatest success, besides the three championship titles, was for Marist Fire the qualification for the OFC Champions Cup 2006 in Auckland , New Zealand . Marist retired after a 10: 1 defeat against eventual Tahitian finalists AS Pirae , a 3: 1 defeat to Auckland City FC 1 win over: and a 7 Sobou FC from Papua New Guinea from the first group stage of the competition.
During the Telekom S-League 2013/14 , Marist FC was excluded from the league by the Solomon Islands Association after a few match days due to the unpaid registration fee of 20,000 Solomon Islands dollars (€ 2,059.24).
