The Telekom S-League 2019/20 was the 16th season of the Telekom S-League , the highest football league in the Solomon Islands .

The league started on September 14, 2019 and ended on January 26, 2020. It was originally supposed to end in December 2019, but has been postponed. After much discussion, the last games were played at the end of January. All games took place at Honiara's Lawson Tama Stadium. The champion and runner-up qualified for the OFC Champions League 2020 .

The Solomon Warriors were crowned champions after beating FC Guadalcanal last week without a fight.

Attendees

Nine teams played in the 2019-20 season, an increase from eight in the 2018 season. Western United from the previous season did not appear and was replaced by Isabel United and Laugu United .

Title fight

Solomon Warriors and Henderson Eels fought a competitive title race. Henderson Eels needed a miracle to win the league on the final day of the match as they had to beat defeated Real Kakamora by 13 goals or more and hope that the Solomon Warriors would lose to Guadalcanal.

The Eels beat Real Kakamora 19-0, with eleven goals from Raphael Le'ai . However, the Solomon Warriors won against Guadalcanal without a fight, as Guadalcanal did not appear for the game, which led to the championship for the Warriors.
