Jacky Calatayud

Jacky Calatayud (born March 12, 1954 in Paris ) is a French actor.

In 1961, Jacky played the short film On a volé la mer, directed by Jean Salvy . In the same year he can be seen alongside Philippe Noiret in the television film Flore et Blancheflore, which is broadcast at Christmas. In 1961, the television series Les Aventures de Poly ran on French television , in which Jacky and other children had the experience of a little circus horse, "Poly". In France, the series ran in 13 episodes of 13 minutes each. In Germany, the ARD showed the children's film from January 9, 1965 in six seasons. On December 29, 1962, the television film Quatre-vingt-treize was broadcast based on a novella by Victor Hugo .

In 1965 a series boosted its popularity in one fell swoop. As a little boy Jacky Calatayud played in the TV mini-series Belphégor or the mystery of the Louvre to Benjamin, who as an assistant "Belphegor" him through the corridors and rooms of the Louvre leads. Even if the film only envisaged a small role for him, he was always seen in the company of the dark, mysterious figure “Belphégor”.

Based on a novella by Hector Malot, director Yannick Andréi made the television film Le Théâtre de la jeunesse: Sans famille in 1965, in which Jacky Calatayud plays the boy Mattia. The film aired during the Christmas season on December 25, 1965. In the 13-part television series Erreurs judiciaires Jacky played a small role as Virlot. In the 1970s Jacky Calatayud was only seen sporadically on television. He made his last film in 1990 in the series Eurocops in the French episode Secret-défense .
