Jacob Lungi Sørensen (born March 3, 1998 ) is a Danish football player . He has been playing for Esbjerg fB since his youth and is also a young national player for Denmark.

Career

Jacob Lungi Sørensen, whose father Lars is a football coach and had played football himself, played against the ball in Esbjerg at the SGI amateur club until 2008 , before moving to the Esbjerg fB football school ("Akademi") within the city . After his appearance in the 5-0 away win on August 31, 2016 in the Danish Cup against the amateur club Haarby / Flemløse, where he scored a goal, he made his first appearance in the Superliga on December 1, 2016 at the age of 18, when he was substituted on for Robin Söder in the 1-0 away win against Odense BK in stoppage time. He played for the Danes' U21s for the first time on November 14, 2018, when he came on for Oliver Abildgaard in the 60th minute of the 4-1 defeat in the test match in Logroño against Spain.
