Jacobine Grohe
Jacobine Grohe (* 1886 in Mannheim ; † December 18, 1948 in Berlin ) was a German theater actress .
Life
Grohe, daughter of an actor, was tutored by Adolf Bauer . Her first engagement was in Koblenz in 1889. In 1890 she worked at the Wiesbaden Court Theater, in 1892 in Strasbourg and in 1894 at the Praise Theater in Breslau.
In 1895 she made her debut at the Darmstädter Hoftheater as "Martha" in The Way to the Heart . She stayed there until at least 1902.
She represented the trade of salon ladies and soubrettes and knew how to make her presentations highly effective through her natural temperament, her cheerfulness, naive coquetry, agile and at the same time discreet gestures. There were highlighted: "Madame Sans-Gêne", "Comtesse Guckerl", "Anna Birkmayer", "Traute" ( Rose Monday ), "Golden Eva", "Hanne Scheel" etc.
