Adolf Bauer (born December 6, 1827 in Mannheim ; died September 3, 1897 there ) was a German theater actor .

Life

Bauer, son of the actor Carl Gottfried Bauer , entered the court stage of his hometown for the first time on February 12, 1844 after brief instruction from his father as a "peddler" in "Lumpaci vagabundus", where he initially worked as a volunteer continued on April 1, 1846 in a permanent position there. Bauer never left this art institute, so he celebrated his 25th stage anniversary on April 1, 1871 and his 50th anniversary on February 12, 1894.
