Carl Gottfried Bauer
Carl Gottfried Bauer ( September 18, 1802 in Reval - September 22, 1853 in Magdeburg ) was a German theater actor .
Life
Bauer first appeared on the stage in 1819 as "Fridolin" in "Gang nach dem Eisenhammer" in Moscow, followed by several larger and smaller engagements, until he became the first adolescent lover on September 12, 1827 (debut role "Egmont") in the association of the court theater in Mannheim, where he was the darling of the audience until 1850. He died in Magdeburg on September 22, 1853.
His son Adolf Bauer also became an actor.
