Jacques Boigelot
Jacques Boigelot is a Belgian film director who was nominated for the Oscar for best foreign language film at the 1971 Academy Awards for his film Paix sur les champs (1970) .
Life
Boigelot, who was head of the film department of Belgian television for several years , was also a director and screenwriter for a time and made the film Paix sur les champs as a director and screenwriter based on the short films La boîte à surprise (1951) and Un pays noir (1953) , for which he was nominated for an Oscar in 1971 for best foreign language film.
In 1975 he also wrote the screenplay for the television series Le renard à l'anneau d'or .
