Jade Dynasty , also known under the name Zhu Xian ( Chinese : 诛仙 Zhūxiān), is a " free-to-play " fantasy MMORPG published by Perfect World. The game is based on a popular novel from the Internet called Zhu Xian . On May 1st, 2018 it was announced that all servers will be closed on June 5th, 2018.
Gameplay
Jade Dynasty is set in ancient China , where the mystery of immortality and martial arts are defended by six different classes of people: Jadeon, Skysong, Vim, Lupine, Modo and Incense Mage. Her pursuit of forbidden knowledge brought her into conflict with the Athan: Balo, Arden, Rayan, Celan, Forta and Voida.
Each class in Jade Dynasty has different abilities, strengths, weaknesses and thus differ in their play style.
Esper
One of the special features of the game are the so-called esper. These allow the player to automatically attack enemy opponents. Thus, the game character can earn experience points and items without the actual player having to actively play the game. In addition, it is possible that the Esper can use potions so that the character can regenerate life and magic points and activate abilities.
Apart from the function that esper bring with them, they improve the stats of the player. In addition, each Esper has its own ability that the wearer can use. However, the player must meet certain requirements in order to be able to wear an Esper (level, level and class).
The level of the esper can be increased by using the esper skill. This improves the status values and changes the appearance of the Esper. It is also possible that an Esper can level up, so its status values increase again and it gets a special appearance.
Pets
Players can tame pets, train them, improve their quality and change their appearance. Pets are very helpful in the game as they can attack opponents and have skills. They have a level just like the players. You can also connect with your pets and thus improve your own status values.
A pet gets experience points when it fights with the player or from items that give the pet experience points. These items can be obtained through quests , traded with other players or purchased in the marketplace.
All pets have a zodiac sign, which determines the pet's abilities. It is also possible to manufacture equipment and training materials for the pet. The appearance of the pet changes from the rank 12 and 18. This requires special mushrooms. The new look does not change the status values. The pets can talk to the player. Depending on the mood, the pet will say something different.
Fast travel
Jade Dynasty offers various options for rapid movement. It is possible to travel with mounts, sky swords, wings, flying animals, teleporter NPCs , portal scrolls or with portal amulets.
The teleporter NPCs allow the player to teleport back and forth between the different cities. In return, the player has to pay a small fee and can only travel to cities whose level limit they meet.
The player can fly through the air with sky swords, wings or flying animals, but this requires energy, which the esper supplies. Permanent Sky Swords can be purchased from the Marketplace or from an NPC in Sunstream. Temporary sky swords can be earned through a weekly quest. Wings, sky swords or flying animals can be bought in the marketplace or earned as a reward from battles. Different qualities determine the maximum speed that can be achieved. The speed increases gradually through use.
Mounts allow the player to move around the map faster than on foot. Permanent mounts can be purchased in the marketplace. Temporary mounts can be obtained through a daily quest .
Portal amulets and portal scrolls can teleport the player to the desired location or city on the respective map on which the player is located. Portal amulets can be purchased in the marketplace, while the portal roles can be collected free of charge as a daily login reward or found in chests.
Classes
As in most fantasy - MMORPG there are different classes, which are divided into different factions. There are three factions in Jade Dynasty: The Humans, the Athan, and the Etherkins. The people and the Athenians each form six different classes. The Etherkins currently only have five. Unlike the Athan and the Etherkins, humans begin as a neutral class (without specific equipment and skills). From level 15 he can choose a class.

stages
Each class has skills that are divided into five levels. A new level is unlocked from a certain level through a quest. Humans can only unlock level one from level 15, while the Athan and Etherkins can use level one skills at level one. Each faction has a specific quests for levels one and two. However, the quests of the other levels are no longer different.
In levels one to four it is possible to learn nine different skills each. The pre-human level and level five allow the player to learn four skills each. This system makes it possible to build or “skill” your character according to your own wishes. So z. B. a Skysong act as a healer or a fighter.
Refinement / refinement
The refinement increases the quality of equipment. Successful refining / refining increases the status values of the equipment, failure destroys it. Players can use talismans or a so-called sigil to guarantee the chance of a successful or guaranteed refinement. In addition, a successful refinement / ennoblement adds attributes and makes the object shine in a certain color; a weapon at level +9, appears in the color green and its attack value increases.

The marketplace offers items for so-called jades . These can be purchased for real money. In addition, jades can be acquired by other players within the game.
Treasure chest / introduction chest
The treasure chest is one of the basic items that every player receives at the start. This can be opened every five levels.
The introduction chest is only given to players who have entered a code from another player who has reached level 60+ (introducer) before character creation. The importer gets a bonus if the importer buys jades or levels up. The introduction chest can be opened every five levels up to level 90. After that, levels 120, 135 and 150 respectively.
Rising up
After the player has reached level 135, it is possible for him to level up . So the player starts again at level 15, but is a lot stronger than players who did not advance. Players must complete a quest to level up. You will receive this when you have reached level 135 and are level five. The maximum level before leveling up is level 150. The maximum level after leveling up is 160.
affinity
After the player has reached level 90 (ascended), they can join an affinity. To do this, he has to complete a quest. When this quest is completed, the player can choose between three different affinities - Dagos, Felkin or Fuwa.

Chroma
When the player has reached level 120 and selected an affinity, he can unlock the chroma system.
Each faction and affinity has 20 different chroma abilities. Most skills are stronger versions of the skills previously learned - four reinforced faction skills and three reinforced affinity skills. In addition, the player can increase his chroma level. This improves status values. The maximum chroma level is 81.
