Jadranka Đokić (born January 14, 1981 in Pula , Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian actress .

Life

Đokić gained first experience at the theater in her hometown of Pula under her mentor at the time, Robert Raponj. After studying acting in the Croatian capital Zagreb , she got her first roles, a. a. Proljetno buđenje (Eng. Summer Awakening ) directed by Ozren Prohic . Her debut on the big screen was the role of prostitute Lidija in the lesbian drama Schöne tote Mädchen (Fine mrtve djevojke) . This film received numerous international awards, such as B. the Cinema tout Ecran from Geneva (Switzerland), the Golden Arena at the Pula Film Festivalin Pula (Croatia), the Sochi IFF (Russia), an Oscar nomination and much more. In Germany, Jadranka Đokić was mainly known in the Arthaus cinemas in her role as Belma Sulic in the Balkan drama Sturm . Today she plays u. a. in Bračne vode , a Croatian remake of the US series A Terribly Nice Family .
