Jahleel Island is an uninhabited island in Algoa Bay , South Africa. It belongs to the St. Croix Island archipelago and is about 1 km from the mainland in front of the port of Ngqura . Among other things, Dominican gulls breed on it.

The island was named after a British admiral stationed on the Cape .
