Jake Downey

Jason Charles "Jake" Downey (born July 5, 1936 in Manchester ) is an English badminton player , coach and author.

Career

Jake Downey started for Middlesex among others at the All England 1961 . His active career ended after a motorcycle accident in Germany. He then started a successful career as a badminton trainer and non-fiction author for badminton. Among other things, he worked as a national coach and team coach in England. Hardly any other author published more badminton books than him.
