Jakob Berneri († 15th century ) was a priest and official .

Life

The native of Nijmegen , Dr. leg. and Mag. art. is documented for the year 1387 in Heidelberg and was then professor in Cologne , where he is also documented as rector of the university for the years 1394 and 1414 . As vicar at the Quirinus Chapel in Cologne, in 1411 he acquired a canonical to St. Maria ad Gradus (Cologne) and also to St. Aposteln zu Cologne, where he was dean from 1414 to 1423 . Since 1422 official of the Archbishop of Cologne, Dietrich II. Von Moers , in 1424 he acquired a canonical to St. Ursula (Cologne) .
