Jakob Huebner
Jakob Hübner , also Jacob Hübner ( May 17, 1859 in Düsseldorf - after 1899) was a German opera singer ( tenor ).
Life
Hübner was first taught by the concert singer Litzinger in Düsseldorf and then attended the Berlin University of Music, where he was taught by the pedagogue Otto. Then he was in Leipzig with Goetze. He joined the Leipzig City Theater Association in 1886, where he stayed until 1894. Then he went to Kiel, 1896 to Reval, 1897 for two years to Stettin. After that he withdrew from the stage and took up residence in Detmold and later in Heidelberg, under modest circumstances.
