Jakob Rongen (born August 5, 1887 in Mönchengladbach ; † August 29, 1970 there ) was a German politician .

Rongen came from a Catholic family in Westphalia . After attending primary school, Rongen completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter, which he completed with a master craftsman's examination.

In the Weimar Republic , Rongen was involved in the Center Party . In the general election of September 1930 Rongen was in as a candidate of the Center for the constituency 23 (Dusseldorf-West) Reichstag voted, where he remained until the elections of July 1,932th
