Jakub Kryštof Rybnický
Jakub Kryštof Rybnický z Chřenovice (* 1583 in Roudnice nad Labem , † August 2, 1639 in Regensburg ) was a Bohemian composer .
Life
Rybnický entered the Kladruby Monastery in 1627 and became its 40th abbot in 1635. Of his works (it is said to have been several masses and other church music works), only the Missa concertata super Exultabo Domine has survived , which is considered to be the oldest Czech work in the concert style.
