Jamal Woolard

Jamal Gravy Woolard (born July 8, 1975 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American actor and rapper.

Woolard grew up in Brooklyn in the Lafayette Garden community . He was active as a rapper and remixer in the New York underground rap scene until he signed a recording deal with Warner Bros. in 2004 . No publication resulted from the collaboration. In July 2006, he was a radio appearance in a show of pre Funkmaster Flex at the transmitter Hot 97 shot. He was shot in the left buttock. Woolard did not seek medical treatment until after the two-hour radio show. As a result of the action, he was banned from the radio station.

In 2008, he played in the 2009 film Notorious BIG, the role of the rapper of the same name, The Notorious BIG Woolard, who was murdered in Los Angeles in 1997 and has a similar stature to Biggie, and was able to prevail in a public casting in October 2007. He also took on this role in the 2017 biopic All Eyez on Me .
