The Jaman South District is a district in Ghana . It is located in the center of Ghana in the Bono region and borders the districts of Jaman North , Berekum and Dormaa Municipal in the Bono region. It also borders on the neighboring state of Ivory Coast . Chief Executive is Apraku Tanoh .

The Jaman South District was founded together with the Jaman North District only by presidential decree of President John Agyekum Kufuor on November 12, 2003 from the former Jaman District by division.

Constituencies

In the Jaman district, a constituency of the same name was set up, in which Anna Nyamekye for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) took the seat in the Ghanaian parliament in the general elections in 2004.
