James Cox (Director)

James Cox (born February 5, 1975 ) is an American director .

While still a student at New York University , Cox made the short film Atomic Tabasco in 1999 . He received an honorable mention for the strip at the Sundance Film Festival that same year . At the US Student Academy Awards , he was awarded the bronze medal in the alternative category.

The short film attracted the interest of Hollywood producers, and Cox received a budget of $ 14 million for the film Highway . After a few episodes for the television series Dead Last, he wrote and directed the film Wonderland with Captain Mauzner in 2003 .

2005–2009 he shot seven videos for the Russian pop band tATu , including the one for the comeback single All About Us .
