James Dean Bradfield (born February 21, 1969 in Newport , Monmouthshire ) is a British musician and singer.

Live and act

Bradfield became internationally known from 1992 as the front man and guitarist of the Manic Street Preachers . Together with his cousin Sean Moore he composes the music for the band. In addition to working with the Manic Street Preachers, he sang duets with Tom Jones and Kylie Minogue . In 2006 a solo album was released.

Bradfield was born to Sue and Monty Bradfield, a carpenter and staunch trade unionist. Originally his name was Clint Eastwood Bradfield , but his mother resisted and they agreed on James Dean . In July 2004 he married Mylene Halsall.
