James Edward Moore
James Edward Moore (born November 29, 1902 in New Bedford , † January 28, 1986 ) was an American four-star general .
As Chief of Staff of the 9th US Army, Moore accepted the surrender of Wenck 's Army in Stendal City Hall in 1945 .
