James Hastings
James Hastings (* 1852 in Huntly , Aberdeenshire ; † 1922 ) was a Scottish Presbyterian clergyman and religious scholar .
Life
He was ordained in 1884 and was a minister of the Free Church , the Reformed Free Church in Scotland.
He was editor of the Encyclopaedia of Religion and Ethics , on which numerous well-known scientists collaborated, as well as founder and editor of the Expository Times .
