James Fallows

James M. Fallows (born August 2, 1949 ) is an American author and journalist .

Fallows was a speechwriter for US President Jimmy Carter . He has been working for the US magazine The Atlantic since the late 1970s .

In 2019, Fallows was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences .
