James Allen Otto (born July 29, 1973 in Fort Lewis , Washington ) is an American country singer and songwriter .

Live and act

Otto's first attempt in the music business was not as successful as hoped. The Mercury Nashville label released their debut single The Ball in 2002 , which landed at number 45 in the US country charts. But the second single Long Way Down flopped. Although he was still able to gain a foothold in the middle of the respective country charts with two more singles and the debut album Days of Our Lives (2004), that was not enough for the label and the singer and songwriter was separated.

The new start at Warner in 2007 was a resounding success. With the single Just Got Started Lovin 'You , James Otto not only had a number 1 hit in the country charts, the song was also very well placed in the official charts for a country title at number 27. The album Sunset Man , which reached number 3 in the sales charts , also benefited from this .

With his second Warner album Shake What God Gave Ya he could not build on it. With number 10 in the country album charts and three top 40 songs, it lagged significantly behind its previous successes in 2010.
