James Surowiecki
James Surowiecki (* 1967 in Meriden (Connecticut) ) is an American journalist who became internationally known with his book The Wisdom of the Many (original title The Wisdom of Crowds ). In this he shows how, through self-organization , but also statistical effects, decisions made by masses can turn out to be smarter than those made by individuals. He is the editor of The New Yorker .
