James Dimon
James "Jamie" L. Dimon (born March 13, 1956 in New York City ) is an American business manager. He is the current CEO and Chairman of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and was CEO of Bank One until 2004 .
Life
His paternal grandfather was a Greek immigrant who changed the family name Papademetriou to "Dimon". James Dimon's father, Theodore, was a manager at American Express . James attended private Browning School in Manhattan and graduated then studying in biology and economics at Tufts University from. He then did his MBA at Harvard Business School . Dimon was named Time Magazine's 2006 list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. He is married to Judith Kent . They have three children together. Dimon has cancer of the throat . In July 2014, he made his illness public. In January 2018, JPMorgan Chase announced that it would extend Dimon's contract to 2023.
